Course description

Data sharing is beneficial for society as a whole, as it creates better preconditions for such things as management by information, research and the opportunities of citizens to exert influence.

This training will cover the benefits of data sharing and you will learn to identify the steps involved in sharing public data as open data and otherwise for more extensive use. You will learn about the data sharing model, the purpose of which is to help organisations, regardless of how far they have progressed in data sharing.

The training is intended especially for those working in management and expert positions in public administration. The training is part of the implementation of the information policy at the Ministry of Finance.
