What is eOppiva?

eOppiva is a shared learning environment for the government sector, with the primary goal of fostering accessible education for all.

eOppiva’s content focuses on changes and development in public administration, working life, and society.

Who is eOppiva for?

eOppiva offers training for government employees as well as open training and other content such as podcasts for anyone interested. In addition to the government sector, eOppiva is used by many municipalities, welfare regions, educational institutions, organizations, and businesses. Studying on eOppiva is free for everyone.

eOppiva consists of two parts:

  • The eOppiva.fi service, which gathers all government-shared courses. Many of them are open to everyone.
  • The eOppiva Moodle learning environment, which includes training for government employees and organizations’ internal training.

In addition to shared and open content, eOppiva offers a Moodle learning environment for government organizations, where almost all agencies have created their own orientations and training paths.

Responsibility for curating, maintaining, and enhancing the eOppiva service rests with the dedicated team at HAUS Finnish Institute of Public Management Ltd. HAUS serves as the government’s partner in competency development, with the Ministry of Finance guiding and funding the eOppiva initiative.
